# How to add custom text field inside your bundles

Wide hello 8)

We’ve added a new option in WideBundle that lets you collect personalized information from your customers directly inside the bundle (for example: first name, custom message, engraving text, etc.). This information is then displayed on the cart page.

## 1. Enable the custom field

1. Open the WideBundle offer you want to edit.
2. In the offer settings, check the option to **Add a personalization field for customers**.
3. Once it’s checked, a new configuration block for the text field will appear.

## 2. Configure the text shown to customers

In this block, you can:

* Set the **field text** (placeholder), for example:
  “Enter your first name”, “Write your custom message”, etc.
* Set the **property name**.
  This is the label that will appear on the **cart page** when the text entered by the customer is added to the order.

Practically, WideBundle will store the customization with a **title / name** (for example “Personalization”) and the value entered by the customer.

## 3. Customize the text design

In the same block, you can adjust:

* The **font size**
* The **text style** (for example regular, bold, italic, depending on the available options)
* The **text color**

Important: the design for this field is managed **directly here**, and not in the general “Design” tab of WideBundle. The goal is to keep all settings related to this feature in one place, so it’s easier to know where to edit the information.

The global look (borders, etc.) stays consistent with the existing design of your bundle.

## 4. Make the field required (optional)

You can also make this field **required**.

When this option is enabled, if the customer doesn’t fill in the field, they will see an **error message** and won’t be able to continue until the information is provided. This is especially useful for personalized products where this info is mandatory (first name, date, message, and so on).

That's all, see you in the next tutorial! 8)
