# Understanding color swatches in your Shopify theme and disabling them


# Color swatches and WideBundle on Shopify

Wide Hello! :-D 

## What are color swatches?

Color swatches are visual buttons on your Shopify store that allow customers to choose product variants (color, size, material...). They appear on product pages and collections.

## How to disable color swatches?

1. Go to your Shopify dashboard
2. Click on "Online Store" then "Themes"

3. Click on "Customize" on your active theme

4. Open the product pages design

5. Find the section corresponding to the variant selector
6. Disable the "Color swatches" option
If you can't find it, try looking for the option in "Settings" by clicking the icon in the top left of the screen

7. Save your changes

## Why disable color swatches with Wide Bundle?

Wide Bundle is not compatible with color swatches because the app uses its own display system for offers

Color swatches can therefore create bugs:
* Images not changing
* Side cart not working
* Other display issues
